What is your Opinion on aniforum?

the question is simple, do you love hanging out here opposed to facebook? or is this site just as boring as any other?
btw sorry i havent been active myself as the admin, im having internet issues at home so i cant be online at the same time as you guys and i have to use the libraries wifi for net access in the day time.

well back to the subject, tell me what you like and dislike about our temporary home for anihub

I do dislike the blandness of the site, and the poor setup of it. I also dislike how its merely just forum games, even though we have a chatbox. The chatbox is also always empty, and is also poor in itself. The fact it lags when too many messages, the color scheme of the box, and the lack of moderator commands.
Also, we've had the same poll going on for like, 3 months or whatnot.
I do like that there is a slight, albeit poor, attempt at community participation at custom banners.

Straight forward comment lol yeah.
But About the active issues, its about the time.
Since this month is the new year and the first month in School.
Since most member here is still high school student. Can't blame em.

whut I dislike of aniforum is the blandness of this site..like what passchendaele just said, I wish if there is any space for us to decorate our own profile like our past anihub..It'll be good and awesome..

Well, hydra, first of the month and being in school really doesn't stop me from coming, so i don't see how it should stop others. yeah, maybe they'll be on for like, 5-10 mins. But im not even seeing that. i'll be lucky if i stay on a whole day, and get a person to even get on the chat.

well seeing as this is a free site, they dont really give me many features to activate, this is a forum site so they dont allow the customization of profiles and what not. as far as the chatbox goes, anihub was the same so this doesnt surprise me, and as far as the activeness goes, hydra is correct, asians are very dedicated to their education, so i wont blame them for having a life lol, as far as the forums go, as long as it keeps people coming, there can be as many games as they want (it was the same way at anihub also). maybe we need a bigger western audience to fill in the gap during the day because night time for us is the afternoon for them and vice versa (also the same on anihub). BUT IF i had the money id probably open a ning site so that thered be better features and customizations, so for the time being i have to work with what i got. and des this site is only a month and a half old, the poll has not been there for 3 months lol, imma take it down now that i have the time.

So about that new website, its pretty cool.
It looks more like a social website rather than a forum website.
And des, you got your dream come true, about a chat room where u can lurk forever XD
But the chat room is heavy when it is on loading @_@

Herp derp, well, its been there since the site opened. But meh. And Anihub wasn't always the dead shell it was. Most of the time, there was at least 2-3 people there.
Also, lurking isn't my dream, but its impossible on the chat, as it disconnects after like, 20 mins.
But its not even just using a new site, more of just editing the theme, to include a chatbox. i used to do it all the time with my old forums. phpbb should be able to do it too.

lol that poll was there like 2 weeks after the site opened, i remember it clearly, but anyways i came across a good host for social networking (this site isnt a social network, just a forum), that lets you customize profiles. and it has a notification system similar to FB, the chat i dont like, its tinychat, but i might switch it out for chatango, Xat, or Cbox. and this host is also free, but imma take my time figuring out how everything works on it.

this large "banner" annoys me. probably not just me but some other users as well. that's it.

I think its a progress for the lingering Anihub community out here. But of course there is still and always room for more progress. I will just wait and see.
